Omega Constellation Pluma

Constellation Pluma, a new ladies watch with a mother-of-pearl dial, has been unveiled by Swiss manufacturer Omega at Baselworld 2015.

The new 27 mm diameter case houses an Omega Co-Axial calibre 8520 movement that is self-winding in both directions. The movement runs at a frequency of 25’200 A/h (3.5 Hz) and has 28 jewels.

It features 11 diamonds inset with 18 carat gold holders on its dial. Further complementing the fact it’s a woman’s watch is the 18 carat red gold bezel of the piece, which is paved with 32 full-cut diamonds.

The hour, minute and seconds hands are crafted from 18 carat gold and coated with white Super-LumiNova, allowing them to be easily read in a variety of lighting conditions.

Each Constellation Pluma is presented on a bracelet with brushed stainless steel links and polished 18 carat red gold bars. It is an officially certified chronometer, boasts a minimum power reserve of 50 hours and is water resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar – the equivalent of 100 meters or 330 feet.

The caseback of the timekeeper is domed with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and proves a look at the very inner workings of the pieces movement.
