Omega has announced at Baselworld 2015 that it will introduce the Speedmaster ’57. It will be an upgrade of the original Speedmaster of 1957.

The 41.5 mm stainless steel case houses an Omega Co-Axial calibre 9300 movement, while the brushed bezel design which surrounds the dial features a tachymeter scale. The hour markers, which are recessed, are partially filled with “vintage” Super-LumiNova that emits a green light for clear visibility.
The black dial provides a contrast against the facetted rhodium-plated central hour and minute hands, which have been created in the “Broad Arrow” style, whilst alpha-shaped hands can be found in the small 60-minute and 12-hour recorder at 3 o’clock and the small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock.
The timepiece of the movement is visible through the caseback, which boasts scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Each and every Omega Speedmaster ’57 is supplied on a brown leather strap or with a metal bracelet.
Omega has also confirmed that the Omega Speedmaster ’57 will come with a four-year warranty.
In addition, it was recently announced that Omega would release a Limited Edition James Bond themed Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M.
