Oris Force Recon GMT

Swiss watch manufacturer Oris has announced that it will introduce the Force Recon GMT, a new watch that has been developed in partnership with the elite amphibious unit U.S. Corps Marine Force Reconnaissance.

The 49 mm watch is presented in a multi-piece titanium case that features black plating and a ceramic minute scale top ring. It is powered by an automatic-winding Oris 747 movement that is based on the Sellita SW 220-1 and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

Boasting a minimum power reserve of approximately 38 hours, the Oris Force Recon GMT will include centre hands for hours, minutes and 24 hours, subsidiary second at 9 o’clock, date window, instantaneous date, date and 24 hour corrector, fine timing device and stop-second.

Its black dial features the Force Recon’s emblem and is complemented by applied indices and nickel hands, both with white Super-LumiNova coating. Whilst, its 24 hour numerals are printed with green Super-LumiNova, which provides a contrast, under a variety of lighting conditions. Furthermore, it is encased within double domed sapphire crystal display with anti-reflective coating on the inside.

The Oris Force Recon GMT is water resistant up to a pressure of 100 bar or 1000 meters and is supplied on a black rubber strap with Oris-developed safety anchor and quick adjustment sliding-sledge folding clasp.

It is supplied in a waterproof case, which includes an alternative black NATO strap, strap-change tools and a tactical watch cover for full camouflage.
