Watch manufacturer Oris has announced that it will be introducing the Oris Williams, a new collection of motor sport watches produced in honour of one of the most iconic names in Formula 1.
The range of watches will include the Oris Williams Chronograph and the Oris Williams Day Date, which will feature a 44 mm and 42 mm case, respectively.
The first, the Oris Williams Chronograph’s multi-piece stainless steel case will house an automatic Oris calibre 774 movement (that is based on the SW500), with chronograph function and a date display at 6 o’clock.
Whilst, the Oris Williams Day Date will be powered by an automatic Oris calibre 735 movement (based on the SW220) with day and date at 3 o’clock. It will feature a multi-piece stainless steel case and crown.
The nickel hour and minute hands, along with the applied indices on the dial of both models will be complemented by Super-LumiNova coating, allowing them to easily be read under a variety of lighting conditions.
Furthermore, the caseback of both are see-through and allow the wearer to observe the very inner workings of the mechanism.
Each watch will be water resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 meters or 330 feet) and is supplied on a black rubber strap with stainless steel folding clasp or a stainless steel bracelet.
