Rado has announced at Baselworld 2015 that it will introduce the Rado DiaMaster Diamonds, a new selection of three timepieces.
The range of 33 mm watches contain a Swiss-made automatic ETA 2681 movement, featuring 25 jewels and a minimum power reserve of 38 hours. The design, which boasts a large open dial inset with 4 diamonds and rose gold coloured hands, also features a moving anchor symbol.
They will be available in three distinct colours: grey, black and white. Each, contains 72 sparkling dimaonds surrounding the bezel of its dial, and held in place by 18 carat gold.
Manufactured using high-tech ceramic, with a hardness of 1250 Vickers, the Rado DiaMaster Diamonds offers a high level of scratch resistant protection, we’re told.
Each timepiece will be water resistant up to a pressure of 5 bar – the equivalent of 50 meters or 165 feet.
They will be produced in a limited run of 600 pieces per colour palette. That’s a grand total of 1,800 pieces all together.
